Blog Awesome repairs
that make the customer happy
This boat was fun to work on. Part of the fun came from the long drive up and back to Rhode Island to pick up the shell. We began work on the Hudson Quad in late January. The shell had extensive damage in the rudder and skeg area as well as the stern deck. Another tricky repair was the 2 seat deck – a large man plopped his butt down on the deck and broke right through.
We had all hands on the boat over a month period – Papa Del working on the rudder, Tim repairing the deck and sanding the shell down, Joe replacing all the hardware, Andy repainting the whole boat, Dan and me working on the tracks and steering cables.
End result? Happy customer!
The 2003 Hudson Quad looked brand new. Clean lines, beautiful white hull with blue stripe down the decks. \
The trip back up to Rhode Island for the delivery was a fun one. For the first time our CFO Dan joined the trip. He got to experience the long drive and road food!
